The Alexander Technique is based on the principle that the relationship of the head and neck influences the functioning of the whole body. With conscious awareness, we can understand more about our own habits of movement. Working at the barre, we will investigate the relationship to ourselves, others in the room and ultimately in a short movement sequence. Gentle touch guides each individual to become more aware of the personal potential and freedom from habitual tension.
