How do we move?  How did we learn to move this way? What do we value—aesthetically and ethically?  Who taught us to attend to those things?

In this workshop, we will be dancing, writing, and conversing.

We all come from somewhere, and we all learned to move and make and be in the world due, in great part, to our unique set of experiences and influences. This is a practice of citing those critical sources. In this workshop, we will dance, witness, and call attention to the histories, experiences, and people who have played significant roles in our development as dancers/makers/thinkers. Borrowing the formal structure of an annotated bibliography, we practice citing our sources and finding shared connections in our creative networks.
